This post is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
You have to promise me 1 thing. That you will actually answer the questions here! I’m doing this to help you! Once you find your passion you will start moving a whole lot faster!
Every successful person says the same thing – do what you love.
In order to do what you love it has to be something you are passionate about!
For example I love to play football (soccer!) its one of my passions. But I love talking about entrepreneurship and business more hence why I started this blog!
I started my journey in finding my passion with the question:
How do I find my passion? I suggest you start with that same question.
It took me a whole month to really, and I mean really get in touch with it after 3 months of wasting time. I feel so strongly about this because most people don’t ever take the time to find out what they are passionate about. This is the reason why they are unhappy in their work.
You have to be willing to go outside of your ‘comfort zone’ to find your true passion. My passion is helping people – but before I went to the Les Brown event I had no idea that I would find public speaking so exciting talking about what I love – mindset and motivating people. It was great but had I never taken that step out of my comfort zone I would not have known this.

The very essence of what I am about to talk about today is:
“How YOU can find your passion”
Dr Farrah Gray, who was a millionaire at age 14!, said:
“To find out what God put you here to do, ask yourself these 3 questions:
1) What comes easy to you but harder to others?
2) What could you do for years and never have to get paid for?
3) How can you be of service?”
Now these 3 questions are great but when it comes to really finding your passion you need to ask yourself a lot more.
Also ask yourself these questions about your passion to yourself and friends and family. Thats what I did.
What do I really enjoy doing?
What am I good at?
Does it keep me up at night?
Does it challenge my comfort zone?
Can I talk about it for hours? (to the point where someone has to interrupt me?!)
Would I do it even if money was not an object?
Have others told me I would be good at this?
What are your strengths?
Do people come to me for advice about this thing? (even if they do, it may not be your passion and that’s ok. People come to me for bodybuilding advice but that’s not really my passion!)
If you want to do what you love for a living you have to be completely committed. You have get yourself to the point where you can say ‘This is what I really want and I’m not going to settle for anything else”
You have to be 100% certain that this is going to happen and say I’m going to do this no matter what.
You also have to be so excited about what you do. I heard this quote somewhere and it said
‘You gotta do what you do so well they can’t take their eyes off you’
That is the formula for massive success and I’m still working on it of course!
I want to leave you with this:
Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: What 1 thing would I want to do for the rest of my life?
Do That.
P.S. Remember, however long it takes you to fully answer these questions it doesnt matter. What matters is that you are constantly asking yourself these questions and also ask others. You may enjoy the thought of doing something but you never know if that could be your passion unless you try it.
There is massive potential for you to succeed and it is up to you to find out what will tap that potential = your passion.
Your strengths you had from birth coupled with your interests may result in your passion just keep searching for it! I promise you will find it if you look for it!
SUCCESS COMES TO THOSE WHO ACTIVELY SEEK IT

Absolutely, its difficult to find out what really excites you, ive found that its when you put yourself in an uncomfortable situation you realise what you are truly capable of and you might love it.
One things for sure, if you stay in your current peer group (in your ‘comfort zone’) you are never going to grow.
So put yourself out there just like Cameron Johnson said
Once you find your passion…then work is no longer is work…your just pushing The Fly Wheel…
Gene,
That is so true…this blog is not work for me, i love it!
Absolutely To find passion of purpose is not easy, however the question we ask will help to uncover this. Stepping out of comfort zones is one of the most important aspects in discovering our true passion, as when we get squeezed we will see what comes out. ..
Right on Owen! The more we step out of our comfort zone the more chance we have of finding our true passion.
I am an IT engineer and did a 9-6 job with just one day off. I did a job because I thought that’s the reason I did my engineering in the first place right? No, I was wrong. The time I started engg. I hardly knew my passion. Now that I know, I have quit my job to pursue my dream to become a designer and VFX artist. And trust me I am enjoying like hell. Am a little low on money as of now but am sure that will improve.
The most important thing is, work is no more work for me. I am still fresh at 7 pm. One great point you said here – “Does it keep me up at night?” stands so true. That’s how one can identify their passion. Also liked the point where you said, “What comes easy to you but harder to others?”
Nice post. Keep it up.

Hi thanks for the comment, I’m so happy for you, that’s exactly
what I’m trying to get across to everyone. That is what life
is all about, not just surviving and existing but living.
By finding your passion you can spend more time doing the
things that you love. it looks pretty certain that your life
Will change. If I was starting out again then that would be
the sort of story that would inspire me Into doing what I
Am doing now.
Ive been checking out the site for a day or so now. Loads of great info. But when you step up great info, and make it priceless…. now thats good stuff. Excellent article, and frankly, one anybody in highschool these days should have to read. The tough part for me with my passion, was never being able to grasp how to do it for a living…. but thats what thinking outside the box is for. Great stuff, thanks again. PEACE

Thanks man, I think everybody should be trying to find their passion because its the thing that gets you up in the morning. Yes the problem is finding a passion that pays the bills! Thats a whole new blog post i reckon!
What i think is that many don’t even know what the word passion means that’s why they are still in the rat race.I am grateful you have boosted my moral. Today is Day one of perusing my passion for the rest of my life, thanks Aaron for your guide. cheers
Passion – for me it covers several aspects of life not just one, probably because I’m older than most, if not, all of you. I would say to you all, ‘yes find your passion but make sure you enjoy your life.’
best wishes to you all
Rich
PS. Aaron – I love the John Legend song…didn’t know my son had the album
I have so many passions in life some of which I cannot mention on this blog. I believe that if you work on your passion you will be more successful. That is so obvious. The trick is to find the passion that will pay the bills. I like money therefore I will be a banker. This statement is so simple yet I give my money to the bank every month because it is safe there. The bank inturn makes money with my money and keeps the profit. It’s called loan sharking. And if you don’t pay it back I’ll fuck up your credit. I’m so scared. No, what I am passionate about is living life so comfortable that money is no worry. I guess we will start trading goods for other things of value other than money. How about a car for 22,000 chickens.
I could simply say that my passion is travelling. I love the experience of meeting people and the anticipation of engaging with people to ascertain different culture attitudes.
And yes, I would travel to many places without getting paid. I suppose in a word my passion could be described as exploration. I love observing and working out how different peoples adapt to their environment and enact methods of survival to project their species.
The understanding of what others see as important to life can reinforce the way in which we perceive value. Seeing true value in things can instil the passion and desire to want things for the right reasons.
I believe my quest now is to attain a standard of living in which I can pursue my passion. Pursuit of this passion has led me to your website. I haven’t made a penny from the internet yet but you have been a great inspiration to me and without knowing it, to my son (who incidentally is the same age as you). The information you have shared is very influential and leads individuals that are searching, to step back and examine life.
The questions above are not easily answered. Knowing your true passion is like trying to find the truth within. I assume, in the challenge to find passion, you have to look at one’s past.
I feel the answers can be found by the dismantling of one’s comfort zone to reveal who we truly are. Since March last year I have encountered life changing situations. I am going through the experience of enlightening my mind at this very moment. I hope that at some given point I will discover my true passion.
Why don’t they teach these things in high school and college? Why teachers don’t motivate kids any more? Why aren’t there teachers out there like Aaron? Why wait until you are in your 20s or 30s to realize how important it is to find your passion?
Dear Aaron can you Please tell me how to find my passion,
its too much i don’t wanna leave a miserable life any more.
I am not god so I do not know the answer to your question. But my attempt to answer the question is in this blog post. So please read it several times until you ‘get it’
Very valid points… It’s better to have pondered over this early in life because it gets harder afterwards. I find that I have spent more than a decade pursuing what others would want from me rather than what I am good at. I’ve kind of lost myself in the process. I am reconnecting with myself to see if I can get to where I belong professionally…
