Its been a hectic past couple of weeks with me working round the clock on the successful launch of Greg Jacobs’ Assassination
Its funny how when you’re young and your parents tell you stuff like ‘hard work pays off’, you tend not to believe them! We’re always looking for the easy way out as youngsters – even me now! I’m sure I’m not alone! But when we come to the realisation that we only get out of life what we put in it becomes clear to us that we have to work hard.
My Dad used to tell me (I sound old just saying that!) that life is like a car. If you don’t put any fuel in the car you won’t get anywhere. The more fuel you put in the car – the further you will get. And this is so true!
I never truly grasped or believed this concept until I quit University last year. Ever since then I have been thinking deeply about my life and what I am going to do to make a difference whilst I’m here. And its ALL ABOUT HARD WORK!
HARD WORK PAYS OFF!!
Now this may sound dead simple to you and common sense but let me tell you this, which is what Les Brown taught me – Common knowledge is not always common practice.
People waste so much time thinking about it instead of getting busy and doing it! Now you read my blog that is wonderful and I hope you read more of my posts but ultimately you have to get off your ass and do something.
Just get started! When I started this blog I was not ready at all. I had no idea what I was doing really! But nevertheless I got started and continued to take action. I continue to ‘fuel my car’ so I can get further ahead in my life. I suggest you do the same. I’m just a regular person like you, I’m not special or anything. Its just that I decided to change my life and embark upon the best journey ever to find who I REALLY am – the entrepreneurs journey.
Now the video below is one I shot in my hotel room in Thailand a few days ago and it details a very important point which if you truly grasp it, you will always be making sure you are ‘putting fuel in your car’. Go watch it to understand what I mean!
So what do you think happiness is? What makes YOU happy? What are your opinions on what I mentioned in the video? As always leave your comments below – I reply to them all!
P.S. Remember this:
There are no shortcuts in life for any place worth going. If you take the shortcuts you are going to get cut short!

As you said if your strategies are not working then you have to rework a new one. Just like planting the seed in the sand, if it’s not working in the sand, research and find a new and better soil that will make the seed grow
. Nice room by the way, I can feel the comfiness here
.
Hey Shirley, absolutely!! Glad you agree! Yeah the room was real nice! I miss it!
Mr. Darko
It’s been a while brother, good to see you all healed up from your motorbike accident.
I somewhat agree with you Aaron. I think goals are great in the sense that they give you direction and a destination in order to plan for. On the other hand lets say you have a goal to be a millionaire so your goal statement might be I want to become a millionaire by age 24. Now is that statement coming from a place of abundance or from a place of lack? In my opinion this keeps us in a vibration of lack. Instead I would suggest to use visualizations and affirmations to put you in a vibration of abundance. Remember the Law of Attraction states “That which is liken to itself is drawn”.
That’s my opinion and I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
Peace
Ty
Hey Ty,
I agree man – so instead I’d say I am a millionaire at 24. I already believe I am – its just a matter of time before it materialises itself. I take action towards it everyday so its definitely going to happen. Everything is a process.
James Malinchak says ‘You have to have it before you can have it’ and thats what you have echoed in your comment talking about visualisations.
Nice one!
